1. When the laptop goes black screen when you are using it, try restarting again with the battery and the power cord one by one.
 
2. If it is a recurring issue, check in the power management options in the control panel and set or remove the time for hibernation, standby, sleep mode and components power management settings like processor, graphic and network adapter.
